Jute is a natural fibre from a vegetable plant. It is a sustainable resource because it only takes 4 to 5 months to grow to maturity. Jute consumes carbon dioxide, cleaning the air and jute leaves are a rich soil conditioner. Whilst jute top reinforces the mat, its breathability helps it absorb sweat and adds additional traction and comfort as well. There is no need for a towel.

This yoga mat is created by combining the jute fibres with phthalate PER (Polymer Environmental Resin) which is is eco friendly containing no PVC, heavy metals or formaldehyde, it is resistant to mildew and static-free.

The mat is durable with a pure natural smell. Can be washed in tub or wiped down with a clean cloth with mild detergent. Fully biodegradable, may be composted in a hot compost pile
