Yoga Nidra has been used for centuries as a technique for encouraging a deep sense of inner peace and stillness within the body & mind. Often referred to as sleeping yoga, it is said that 20mins of Yoga Nidra is equivilant to hours of sleep! And with just as many, if not more benefits as that of a typical yoga class, you have can enjoy the practice of yoga nidra without moving a muscle...making it perfect for those with limited mobility or for those of us that just want to lie down and relax!

Unlike many forms of meditation that are hard to focus on for any length of time, Yoga Nidra guides you through a gentle relaxation of every muscle in your body whilst the mind is slowly stilled and brought into alignment with the gentle rhythm of the breath. From a peaceful state of total presence we are realigned with our higher selves and brought to a place of healing & manifesting, where we can go about consciously creating the lives that we desire.

During Yoga Nidra we will work with the energetic body underlying the physical by connecting with the subtle energies of the chakras and developing sensitivity to the prana, kundalini or lifeforce within. It is perfect for anyone who wants to reduce the stress in their lives, connect back in with their true self and find a greater sense of peace.

Yoga Nidra is a wonderful tool for healing  the body, balancing the mind and for anyone who wants to gain the benefits of yoga but cannot participate in an active asana practice.
