YOGA BASICS I & II- 

4 week courses starting Sat 9th Oct & Sat 27th Nov at 9:15am

Get back to basics and learn the foundations of yoga with these short 4 week courses, held on Sat mornings from 9:15 - 10:15am in Neutral Bay. Covering correct alignment of common yoga postures, the basics of yoga breathing techniques, as well as simple meditations for relaxation; we also briefly examine why we practice yoga and the purpose of yoga within the modern lifestyle.

Yoga Basics I & II are the perfect intro to yoga for beginners or a helpful reminder for those wishing to revise the basics of their current yoga practice.

 

Yoga Basics I Sat Oct 9 - Oct 30

Weekly classes cover:

-          The benefits & purpose of yoga

-          Learning to breathe

-         Simple asana alignment & resting poses

-          Relaxation

 

Yoga Basics II Sat Nov 27 - Dec 18

Weekly classes cover:

-          Body & Breath Awareness

-          Mindful Yoga

-          Simple Meditations

-          Yoga Lifestyle

These 4 week modules can be taken separately as individual courses or together for a more complete understanding of the foundations of Yoga.
